Regan Smith celebrates in Victory Lane after holding off Carl Edwards to take the checkers at Darlington.

Lap 370 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Regan Smith stays fast, holds off Carl Edwards and wins the Showtime Southern 500 at Darlington. Meanwhile, Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick meet on the track as tempers flare after the last on-track incident. Harvick leaps out of his car, reaches into the No. 18 and throws a punch as Busch shoves the No. 29 into the wall without its driver. Smith sheds a tear in Victory Lane, saying that his mother -- who attends all of his races -- wasn't able to be at the track Saturday due to her participation in tornado relief efforts in Alabama.

Lap 369 -- WHITE FLAG: Regan Smith gets off to a good start and pulls away from Carl Edwards.

Lap 368 -- GREEN FLAG: Regan Smith leads the field back to green in the No. 78.

Lap 333 -- Tony Stewart pushes the envelop on fuel. Daivd Ragan hasn't stopped since lap 281.

Lap 332 -- David Ragan moves to second.

Lap 331 -- The leaders pit; Carl Edwards takes more air in the rear tires. Kasey Kahne takes four tires, fuel and hauls rear off pit road. Tony Stewart takes the lead.

Lap 330 -- The penalty puts Dale Jr. off the lead lap. Kevin Harvick pits with a tight car. Kyle Busch makes his final stop , takes four tires and fuel.

Lap 329 -- Dale Jr. pits the No. 88 for tires and fuel, spinning and hitting the cone entering pit road. He's serve a pass-though penalty.

Lap 328 -- Kasey Kahne and Carl Edwards have yet to pit. Expect a game of cat-and-mouse.

Lap 327 -- The No. 78 gets an air pressure adjustment, tires and fuel.

Lap 326 -- Kasey Kahne remains the leader. Mark martin says he can't believe how tight the No. 5 has become.

Lap 325 -- Martin Truex Jr. is tight and gets an air adjustment. Greg Biffle is on pit road with a free car, he takes for tires an an air adjustment. Paul Menard makes his final stop, along with David Reutimann.

Lap 324 -- Casey Mears and Jimmie Johnson pits for four tires and an air adjustment.

Lap 323 -- Drivers continue to cycle through green-flag pit stops.

Lap 322 -- Jeff Gordon moves into fifth after tapping the wall. Marcos Ambrose pits with a tight car in the middle, he takes four tires and fuel.

Lap 321 -- Ryan Newman pits for tires and fuel and wants no changes.

Lap 320 -- Jamie McMurray pits with a vibration.

Lap 319 -- Denny Hamlin won't budge from the fifth spot and says the car is tight but improving.
