1985: Tim Richmond leads 151 of 200 laps and wins the Winn-Dixie 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway for his first then-Busch Series victory. He finishes 1.5 seconds ahead of Neil Bonnett, and L.D. Ottinger is third. Richmond starts 10 races over four seasons, winning two and finishing in the top-five in two others. An interesting Series statistic for Richmond: His six career poles came in his last six starts.
