2000: Jeff Green wins the final Nationwide Series race at Myrtle Beach (S.C.) Speedway. Green, in fact, wins the final two, having won the previous race in 1999. On this day, Green starts on the pole at the .538-mile track and leads 198 laps of the Myrtle Beach 250 and beats Kevin Harvick to the line by 1.029 seconds. Thirteen Nationwide races were run at Myrtle Beach, the first in 1988.
