1938: Charlie Glotzbach, who won four Cup races in 124 starts, is born on this day. Glotzbach's four wins come at Charlotte (1968), Daytona (1970 qualifier), Michigan (1970) and Bristol (1971). There were no cautions in his win at Bristol, and Glotzbach's winning speed, 101.074 mph, remains the track record.
