1961: Hut Stricklin, who raced in the Cup Series from 1987 to 2002, turns 50 today. Stricklin was winless in 328 starts with eight top-fives and 29 top-10s. He won one pole. Twice Stricklin finished second -- at Michigan in 1991 and Darlington in 1996. He made 54 starts in the Nationwide Series (1985-2000) with a best finish of second at Michigan in 1992.
