Lap 170 -- CHECKERED FLAG: As the field wrecks behind him, David Ragan scores his first Cup Series victory and gets redemption for his mistake at the Daytona 500. Matt Kenseth finishes second with Joey Logano third.

Lap 169 -- WHITE FLAG: David Ragan out front but Joey Logano and Kasey Kahne have partnered up and are challenging for the lead.

Lap 168 -- GREEN FLAG: David Ragan brings the field to the green for the second green-white-checkered.

Lap 167 -- One to go!

Lap 166 -- The top 10: David Ragan, Ryan Newman, Matt Kenseth, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Paul Menard, Joey Logano, Kasey Kahne, Jamie McMurray and Juan Montoya.

Lap 164 -- David Ragan scored the race leader.

Lap 163 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: The big one happened in Turn 2 as the field bunched up and got together. Joey Logano got into Mark Martin, sending the No. 5 into the wall. Martin, Martin Truex Jr., Clint Bowyer, Landon Cassill, Brian Vickers, Regan Smith, Kurt Busch, Joe Nemechek, Casey Mears, Tony Stewart, David Reutimann all involved.

Lap 162 -- GREEN FLAG: The first green-white-checkered finish is under way with Ryan Newman out front. Denny Hamlin, David Ragan Matt Kenseth, Brian Vickers and Kasey Kahne second through sixth.

Lap 159 -- Pit road is open. Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon pit.

Lap 157 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Jeff Gordon spins but makes a huge save as the top 15 were bunched together. Kasey Kahne slid up the track and hit Gordon. A.J. Allmendinger gets the free pass. Ryan Newman leads. Kyle Busch got some damage after hitting the wall.

Lap 155 -- Mark Martin and Jeff Gordon are on the move as they have climbed to the top 10.

Lap 154 -- Matt Kenseth out front with David Ragan pushing.

Lap 153 -- Tony Stewart, David Gilliland, Brad Keselowski, Greg Biffle, Joe Nemechek and Travis Kvapil need a caution as they are more than 20 seconds back.

Lap 151 -- Marcos Ambrose, A.J. Allmendinger, Andy Lally and Terry Labonte are all a lap down.

Lap 150 -- With 10 laps to go, Ryan Newman is out front with Denny Hamlin pushing him.

Lap 148 -- As the laps tick away, history would tell you a caution is coming, but everyone is racing very well and in control with 12 to go.

Lap 145 -- An interesting development up front as Ryan Newman is partnered with the three Joe Gibbs Racing cars. All four Richard Childress cars are together.

Lap 143 -- The four Hendrick drivers are 15-18 but are nearly six seconds back of leader Ryan Newman.

Lap 142 -- Kevin Harvick keeps the lead after green-flag stops. Paul Menard is second. Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch and Joey Logano round out the top six.

Lap 141 -- Kevin Harvick gives up the lead and pits. Paul Menard right behind.

Lap 140 -- Jeff Burton, Clint Bowyer, Kurt Busch and Regan Smith pit.

Lap 139 -- Casey Mears and Landon Cassill on pit road. Kevin Harvick still leads.

Lap 138 -- Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Ryan Newman, Denny Hamlin, Travis Kvapil and Joe Nemechek on pit road.

Lap 133 -- Brian Vickers and Kasey Kahne hit pit road. David Gilliland and Tony Stewart also pit.

Lap 132 -- David Reuitmann and Martin Truex Jr. on pit road. Kyle Busch leads.

Lap 131 -- David Ragan and Matt Kenseth on pit road.

Lap 127 -- The top 22 are in the lead pack. Everyone will have to make one more stop before the race ends in 33 laps.

Lap 125 -- Thought in the No. 20 camp is the radiator fan for Joey Logano has melted.

Lap 123 -- Ryan Newman out front with Denny Hamlin pushing as the four RCR cars have dropped back a bit.

Lap 120 -- Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon, Marcos Ambrose, A.J. Allmendinger, Brad Keselowski and Greg Biffle have lost the pack and are 10-plus seconds back.

Lap 119 -- Five cars are out of the race. Carl Edwards is 25 laps down. Geoff Bodine, Bobby Labonte and Robby Gordon are a lap down.

Lap 118 -- After getting to the front, Brad Keselowski and Greg Biffle have dropped to the rear.

Lap 117 -- All four Richard Childress Racing cars are hooked up, a new look to the race with 43 to go.

Lap 115 -- Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton have worked their way to the front as they run fifth and sixth.

Lap 113 -- From nowhere, Juan Montoya and Jamie McMurray have drafted their way to the lead.

Lap 112 -- Terry Labonte and Andy Lally have lost the pack but remain together.

Lap 110 -- Brad Keselowski and Greg Biffle looking to get out front running third and fourth.

Lap 109 -- Kasey Kahne and Brian Vickers don't like the feel of the race so they have dropped to the rear.

Lap 108 -- Denny Hamlin and Ryan Newman swap spots but hold onto the lead with Hamlin out front.

Lap 107 -- Tony Stewart and David Gilliland have dropped to the rear of the field.

Lap 106 -- Ryan Newman and Denny Hamlin have worked their way to the front as Newman leads.

Lap 105 -- Brad Keselowski and Greg Biffle on the move as they are in the top five.

Lap 104 -- David Ragan and Matt Kenseth back in the top five. Ryan Newman and Denny Hamlin up to 11th and 12th.

Lap 103 -- Joey Logano and Kyle Busch swap positions giving the lead to Martin Truex Jr.

Lap 101 -- Kyle Busch back out front with Joey Logano right behind.

Lap 99 -- Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton pit giving the lead to Brian Vickers. Four tires and fuel for Bowyer.

Lap 98 -- Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton swap positions giving Bowyer the lead.

Lap 96 -- Jeff Burton and Clint Bowyer the only two yet to pit as they run first and second.

Lap 95 -- Casey Mears, Landon Cassill, Kurt Busch, Regan Smith, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. pit. Joe Nemechek out front.

Lap 94 -- Kyle Busch gives up the lead to Casey Mears and pits. Joey Logano and a bunch of others cars on pit road including Paul Menard, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon and Mark Martin.

Lap 93 -- David Reutimann, Martin Truex Jr., Matt Kenseth, David Ragan, A.J. Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose on pit road.

Lap 92 -- Andy Lally, Terry Labonte, David Gilliland and Tony Stewart pit.

Lap 91 -- Kasey Kahne and Brian Vickers peel off out of the top five to pit. Vickers with four tires and fuel.

Lap 90 -- Paul Menard out front with teammate Kevin Harvick.

Lap 88 -- Juan Montoya and Jamie McMurray working together up to 19th and 20th. Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson back in the top 10.

Lap 86 -- If the race stays green, green-flag stops will start in the next five to seven laps. Kyle Busch leads with help from Joey Logano.

Lap 85 -- Jeff Gordon and Mark Martin also moving through the field up to 21st and 22nd.

Lap 84 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson on the move as they are up to 15th and 16th.

Lap 83 -- Great stat on TNT, of the current top 10, Kyle Busch is the only driver with a victory this season.

Lap 82 -- Terry Labonte and Andy Lally are working together and are in the top 10.

Lap 81 -- The top 10 are all within 0.8 seconds of each other giving us some of the best racing of the night. Kasey Kahne remains out front.

Lap 79 -- Kyle Busch and Joey Logano now in the top five as they have hooked up.

Lap 76 -- Joe Nemechek now leads with Travis Kvapil pushing. David Ragan and Matt Kenseth running in the rear of the field.

Lap 75 -- Casey Mears leads with Landon Cassill pushing.

Lap 74 -- Kasey Kahne back out front as he and Brian Vickers get a big run on the outside. Landon Cassill and Casey Mears running third and fourth.

Lap 73 -- The top eight are now running in a pack.

Lap 72 -- Carl Edwards still on pit road and now 15 laps down.

Lap 70 -- And just like that Tony Stewart leads for the first time today.

Lap 69 -- Tony Stewart and David Gilliland now the third pair on the track, running fifth and sixth.

Lap 67 -- Travis Kvapil and Joe Nemechek working together and are in the top 10.

Lap 66 -- Kasey Kahne back out front. Carl Edwards returns to pit road.

Lap 65 -- Paul Menard edges Kasey Kahne at the line to lead.

Lap 64 -- Kasey Kahne now out front with a big push from Brian Vickers. Paul Menard and Kevin Harvick run third and fourth.

Lap 62 -- Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton have also dropped to the rear. As have the Richard Petty Motorsports duo of A.J. Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose.

Lap 61 -- Ryan Newman and Denny Hamlin have dropped to the rear of the field.

Lap 60 -- Matt Kenseth and David Ragan get a great run and jump to the lead. Kasey Kahne and Brian Vickers follow.

Lap 59 -- Tony Stewart and David Gilliland continue to work together and run 13th and 14th.

Lap 58 -- Regan Smith and Kurt Busch back up front as they rocket to the lead.

Lap 57 -- It looks like most everyone has found their preferred partner and are working together.

Lap 55 -- Kasey Kahne slows way down and is back together with Brian Vickers. Martin Truex Jr. leads with help from David Reutimann.

Lap 54 -- Kasey Kahne has the lead but Brian Vickers is in eighth so Kahne was a sitting duck and passed by 10 cars.

Lap 53 -- GREEN FLAG: Kasey Kahne brings the field to the green followed by Martin Truex Jr., Regan Smith, Kevin Harvick and Paul Menard.

Lap 52 -- Travis Kvapil, Jimmie Johnson and Terry Labonte pit giving the lead to Kasey Kahne. Ryan Newman, Marcos Ambrose, A.J. Allmendinger and Dale Earnhardt Jr. among the drivers topping off on fuel.

Lap 51 -- Kyle Busch and Juan Montoya pit, giving the lead to Travis Kvapil. Kvapil, Jimmie Johnson and Terry Labonte the only three not to pit on this caution. Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano back on pit road. Carl Edwards back on track scored eight laps down.

Lap 50 -- Brad Keselowski, Jeff Burton, Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer and a handful of others on pit road.

Lap 49 -- The leaders hit pit road. Martin Truex Jr. with two tires and no changes. Matt Kenseth with a four-tire stop. Kasey Kahne with fuel only. Kyle Busch stays out to lead as the top 11 cars stay out.

Lap 48 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: Dave Blaney into the Turn 2 wall. Bobby Labonte gets the free pass. Carl Edwards on pit road and turns his car off. Exhaust is coming into his car and it's making him sick.

Lap 47 -- Matt Kenseth continues to lead as the top 18 are basically single file.

Lap 46 -- A.J. Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose have worked together perfectly and find themselves in the top 10.

Lap 44 -- Kurt Busch and Regan Smith had to swap dropping them outside the top 10.

Lap 43 -- Matt Kenseth back out of front with David Ragan pushing. Casey Mears and Landon Cassill on the move and up to third and fourth.

Lap 42 -- Martin Truex Jr. edges Matt Kenseth at the line to lead.

Lap 41 -- David Ragan and Matt Kenseth swap positions but are able to hold on to the lead.

Lap 40 -- Casey Mears and Landon Cassill working together and find themselves in ninth and 10th. David Ragan still out front.

Lap 38 -- Brad Keselowski and Greg Biffle, both lost their partners, are now working together and up in the top 15.

Lap 37 -- David Ragan jumps back to the lead with Matt Kenseth pushing him.

Lap 35 -- The field is closing in on Carl Edwards to put him four laps down as he rides alone.

Lap 33 -- Ryan Newman and Denny Hamlin are working together and are on the move.

Lap 32 -- The Hendrick foursome have dropped to the rear as they all run 28th or worse.

Lap 31 -- Martin Truex Jr. out front for the first time tonight with a push from David Reutimann. Red Bull teammates Kasey Kahne and Brain Vickers working together and in the top five.

Lap 30 -- Carl Edwards is back on the track, scored three laps down. Greg Biffle is 25th and on the lead lap after the crash.

Lap 29 -- Regan Smith leads with a push from Kurt Busch. Paul Menard and Kevin Harvick in third and fourth, working together.

Lap 28 -- Carl Edwards remains on pit road, going two laps down. David Ragan out front being pushed by Matt Kenseth.

Lap 27 -- Kevin Harvick and Paul Menard rocket away from the field, giving the two the chance to switch spots.

Lap 26 -- GREEN FLAG: Kevin Harvick brings the field to the green.

Lap 25 -- Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Jeff Burton, Travis Kvapil and Joey Logano all pit giving the lead to Kevin Harvick, who won the race off pit road. Marcos Ambrose and A.J. Allmendinger also pit.

Lap 24 -- The leaders hit pit road. Dale Earnhardt Jr. with two tires and fuel. Regan Smith with four tires and a chassis adjustment. Kurt Busch with a track bar adjustment. Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin, Jeff Burton, Travis Kvapil and Joey Logano stay out.

Lap 23 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 2: Carl Edwards, running third, spins after bump drafting gone wrong with Greg Biffle and hits the inside wall. Biffle also into the wall with damage. Brad Keselowski gets the free pass and is back on the lead lap.

Lap 22 -- Brad Keselowski goes a lap down as the leaders blow by him.

Lap 21 -- Kurt Busch back out front. Joey Logano and Kyle Busch are working together and climbing to the front.

Lap 20 -- Brad Keselowski has no friends after wrecking Trevor Bayne as he rides alone in 38th.

Lap 19 -- Carl Edwards leads as Greg Biffle pushes his teammate to the front.

Lap 18 -- Jeff Gordon and Mark Martin have swapped positions, dropping them to seventh and eighth.

Lap 17 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson separate opening the door for Kurt Busch to get out front with a push from Regan Smith.

Lap 16 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. gets a big push from Jimmie Johnson and leads for the first time today.

Lap 14 -- Kurt Busch and Regan Smith are working together and have joined the Hendrick and Roush cars up front.

Lap 13 -- Tony Stewart and David Gilliland are partnered up and looking to move through the field. They run 13th and 14th.

Lap 11 -- All four Roush cars are partnered up as Matt Kenseth pushes David Ragan and Greg Biffle pushes Carl Edwards.

Lap 10 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson have dropped to seventh and eighth.

Lap 9 -- Bobby Labonte goes a lap down due to repairs. Mark Martin leads.

Lap 8 -- GREEN FLAG: Mark Martin brings the field to the green followed by Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and David Ragan.

Lap 7 -- Dave Blaney, Robby Gordon and Travis Kvapil back on pit road.

Lap 6 -- Pit road is open. Jeff Burton in 18th the highest-running car to pit. Most everyone behind Burton comes in. McMurray and Labonte back on pit road for repairs. Mike Skinner takes his car to the garage.

Lap 5 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Brad Keselowski got into the rear of Trevor Bayne, sending the Daytona 500 winner around and into the wall. No free pass is given. Clint Bowyer, Bobby Labonte and Jamie McMurray with damage. Labonte and McMurray are on pit road. Bayne to the garage.

Lap 4 -- Trevor Bayne got hung out on the outside and dropped back to 16th. Michael McDowell takes the No. 66 to the garage.

Lap 3 -- Kevin Conway takes the No. 97 to the garage. The Hendrick cars are all in the top four.

Lap 2 -- Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle found each other and are on the move.

Lap 1 -- Mark Martin and Jeff Gordon partner up on the outside. Trevor Bayne and Clint Bowyer team up on the inside. Martin leads the first lap.

7:52 p.m. ET -- GREEN FLAG: Mark Martin brings the field to speed for 160 laps at Daytona.

7:51 p.m. ET -- Robby Gordon (driver change), Dave Blaney (unapproved changes) and Bobby Labonte (engine) to the rear.

7:43 p.m. ET -- The cars are rolling of pit road for three warm-up laps.

7:40 p.m. ET -- Jimbo Fisher, head football coach for the Florida State Seminoles, gives the command: "Gentlemen, start your engines!"

7:31 p.m. ET -- United States Navy Band of the Southeast performs the national anthem.

7:30 p.m. ET -- Sonny Gallman from Central Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, Fla., delivers the Invocation.

6:30 p.m. ET -- Countdown to Green is under way on TNT.

6:24 p.m. ET -- It's a beautiful day at Daytona International Speedway for the Coke Zero 400. It's currently 83 degrees under sunny skies. Temperatures are expected to fall into the low-70s as the evening progresses with a stray rain shower possible. Mark Martin will bring the field to the green for the 50th time in his Cup career at 7:52 p.m. ET.
