1955: Tim Flock wins a 100-mile race at Morristown (N.J.) Speedway, the 11th win of his monster 18-victory, championship-winning season. Flock starts 39 of 45 races, finishing in the top-five 32 times and winning 18 poles. On this day, he leads 160 of 200 laps on the half-mile dirt track and beats Lee Petty by two laps and third-place Dave Terrell by three laps. Junior Johnson, who leads Laps 151 through 190, finishes fourth, four laps back.
