1993: Dale Earnhardt, a 10-time winner in the Cup Series at Talladega Superspeedway, wins the Fram Filter 500k for his only Nationwide Series victory at the 2.66-mile track. Earnhardt leads a race-high 60 laps (of 117) and beats Randy Lajoie by three car lengths. Terry Labonte finishes third. Earnhardt also wins three IROC races at Talladega.
