Lap 250: Wow! Ricky Stenhouse Jr. blows an engine coming off turn four, and gets rammed from the rear by Carl Edwards. The impact propels Stenhouse across the finish line in first place.

Lap 243: Carl Edwards trails Ricky Stehouse Jr. by a little more than three tenths of a second.

Lap 234: The race up front has settled down for the time being. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. leads Carl Edwards by about half a second, while Elliott Sadler is nearly 2.1 seconds back.

Lap 228: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Carl Edwards are now the lead two cars, and racing hard for the top spot.

Lap 226: Hold on to your hats! Ricky Stenhouse Jr. slices his car to the inside of the track, trying to get around traffic. David Mayhew gets a little out of shape, but regains control.

Lap 226 -- GREEN FLAG: Elliott Sadler, David Mayhew, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Carl Edwards and Josh Wise bring the field to the restart.

Lap 220: Michael Annett, who did not stop under the previous caution, drops onto pit road. A few others back in the pack also stop.

Lap 218 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 6: Blake Koch slams the wall coming off turn two, then pops the inside retaining wall. Robert Richardson Jr. loops his car to avoid Koch.

Lap 215: Elliott Sadler leads David Mayhew by six tenths of a second, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. by 1.6 seconds and Carl Edwards by nearly 3.9.

Lap 213: Carl Edwards gets position under Josh Wise for fourth place.

Lap 205: Carl Edwards has just moved into fifth place.

Lap 200: There are fifty laps to go. Elliott Sadler leads David Mayhew by about three tenths of a second.

Lap 198: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. tries to get under Aric Almirola while racing for third place, but can't make the move stick.

Lap 193: David Mayhew gets past Aric Almirola for second place coming off turn four.

Lap 190: Elliott Sadler takes the lead coming off turn four from Michael Annett, who is getting swallowed up in traffic.

Lap 190 -- GREEN FLAG: Michael Annett stayed on the track during the caution and is the leader on the restart. Elliott Sadler, Reed Sorenson, Aric Almirola and David Mayhew make up the rest of the top five. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is seventh, Carl Edwards 16h.

Lap 186: Pit road is a busy place again. Carl Edwards' stop is a very slow one.

Lap 184 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: There's evidently debris on the race track.

Lap 181: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. says of his Roush Fenway Racing teammate Carl Edwards, "He's done when I get to him."

Lap 172: Trevor Bayne is back on pit road.

Lap 168: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. gets under Carl Edwards for the lead, but Edwards crosses back under him in turn four to retake the advantage. Stenhouse bobbles off the turn, which allows David Mayhew to take second.

Lap 166: Michael McDowell is on pit road with an unexpected vibration.

Lap 161: Carl Edwards gets a huge jump and is well clear of the rest of the field by the time they hit turn one.

Lap 161 -- GREEN FLAG: Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., David Mayhew, Michael McDowell and Josh Wise make up the top five when the race gets back under way.

Lap 155: Sam Hornish Jr. is back on pit road with a fire under the right front of his car, very similar to the problem that Justin Allgaier had last week outside Indianapolis.

Lap 154: The leaders are on pit road. Everyone takes four tires.

Lap 153 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: The caution is out for Sam Hornish Jr.'s tire problem.

Lap 152: Fourth-place Sam Hornish Jr. slows dramatically in turn four. He has a flat tire, but there's no caution.

Lap 143: The top-five cars -- Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., David Mayhew, Sam Hornish Jr. and Aric Almirola -- are separated by more than 9.7 seconds.

Lap 138: There should be at least one more stop in tonight's race. No one can go the rest of the way on fuel.

Lap 136: Trevor Bayne's problem turned out to be a loose wheel.

Lap 134: Trevor Bayne's Ford has developed a substantial vibration, forcing him to pit road.

Lap 125: The race has reached the halfway point.

Lap 115: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has moved past David Mayhew for second place.

Lap 111: Aric Almirola, Trevor Bayne and another car go three wide into turn three. They somehow manage to avoid disaster.

Lap 107: David Mayhew bobbles a bit underneath Carl Edwards, allowing Edwards to clear him for the lead.

Lap 107 -- GREEN FLAG: David Mayhew, Carl Edwards, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Sam Hornish Jr. and Trevor Bayne are the leaders on the restart.

Lap 101: The leaders are back on pit road.

Lap 99 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: Moments after Ricky Stenhouse Jr. gets past Carl Edwards for the lead going into turn one, Mike Wallace has a tire problem.

Lap 92: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. charges after Carl Edwards for the lead on the frontstretch, but gets jammed up between a couple of lapped cars.

Lap 83: Sam Hornish Jr. battles past Michael McDowell for third place.

Lap 76: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has moved past Michael McDowell for second place. At the moment, Stenhouse is 1.1 seconds behind leader Carl Edwards.

Lap 69: Carl Edwards clears Michael McDowell for the advantage coming off turn four.

Lap 68: Carl Edwards charges by Michael McDowell for the lead going into turn three, but McDowell uses the crossover move to get back under his rival.

Lap 64: Carl Edwards takes a shot at the lead between turns one and two, but can't yet get by Michael McDowell.

Lap 63: Sam Hornish Jr. is already back up to sixth place.

Lap 57: Michael McDowell clears Carl Edwards for the lead.

Lap 57 -- GREEN FLAG: Michael McDowell, Carl Edwards, Jason Leffler, Steve Wallace and Brian Scott, Kenny Wallace and Josh Wise did not pit during the caution and are the leaders on the restart. Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Ellott Sadler and Aric Almirola round out the top 10. Reed Sorenson is 11th, while the top two before the yellow, Sam Hornish Jr. and David Mayhew, are 12th and 13th, respectively.

Lap 50: Most of the leaders roll down pit road under the caution.

Lap 47 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 2: Jamie Dick pounds the wall between turns three and four, and as he comes back down the track, he collects Eric McClure. When they collide, it's right in front of leader Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 45: Move rookie David Mayhew, driving for Kevin Harvick Inc., up to second place.

Lap 37: Michael McDowell gets past Elliott Sadler for fourth place between turns one and two.

Lap 36: Sam Hornish Jr. has zoomed out to a lead of 1.6 seconds.

Lap 33: David Mayhew gets a run on Trevor Bayne for second place going down the backstretch, but he's not able to complete the move.

Lap 28: There's a little bit of a stack up behind David Mayhew on the restart, but Sam Hornish Jr. and Trevor Bayne get by without incident.

Lap 28 -- GREEN FLAG: Sam Hornish Jr., David Mayhew, Trevor Bayne, Elliott Sadler and Michael McDowell lead the field to the restart.

Lap 23: The leaders are on pit road. Most take two tires, but Jason Leffler is now on four fresh slicks. Sam Hornish Jr. stays on the track.

Lap 21 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Justin Allgaier appears to have blown a right-front tire, which causes him to brush the wall in turn three.

Lap 15: The gap between first-place Sam Hornish Jr. and second-place Trevor Bayne is already about half a second.

Lap 13: Coming off turn two, Sam Hornish Jr. finally gets clear of Trevor Bayne for the top spot.

Lap 11: Sam Hornish Jr. is working to wrestle the lead from Trevor Bayne. They remain side by side.

Lap 5: Sam Hornish Jr. is now second, followed by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Justin Allgaier. Elliott Sadler continues to fade toward the bottom half of the top 10.

Lap 3: Pole-sitter Elliott Sadler has slipped all the way back to fifth.

Lap 1: Trevor Bayne clears Elliott Sadler for the lead coming off turn four.

7:48 p.m.: Green flag!

7:43 p.m.: The field is beginning to roll off pit road for the start of tonight's pace laps.

Pre-Race, 6:39 p.m.: Kathy Hust, a vice president at U.S. Cellular, gives the command to fire engines.

Pre-Race, 6:34 p.m.: Two F-16 jets from the 114th Fighter Wing of the South Dakota Air National Guard are dong the fly-over.

Pre-Race, 6:32 p.m.: Recording artist Tyler Hilton is singing the National Anthem.

Pre-Race, 6:31 p.m.: Tonight's invocation is being given by Mark Young of Iowa Speedway Ministries.

Pre-Race: Four drivers -- Reed Sorenson, Jason Leffler, Justin Allgaier and Michael Annett -- are eligible for a $100,000 bonus in the Dash4Cash program sponsored by Nationwide Insurance. The highest-finishing driver of the four will receive the incentive.

Pre-Race: Elliott Sadler is on the pole for the U.S. Cellular 250. Trevor Bayne is second, followed by Sam Hornish Jr., Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Drew Herring in the top five. Justin Allgaier, Jason Leffler, Kenny Wallace, Michael McDowell and Brian Scott round out the top 10.

Pre-Race: Tonight's event will be the fourth Nationwide Series race held at Iowa Speedway. So far, no driver has been a repeat winner. Previous victors include Brad Keselowski in the 2009 inaugural race, Kyle Busch in 2010 and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. earlier this year.
