1941: Jerry Glanville, a former NFL coach who competed in Nationwide and Truck races in the 1990s, is 70 today. Glanville made six starts in the Nationwide Series (1992-93) and 27 in the Truck Series (1995-99). His best finish in the Nationwide Series was 20th in a 23-car field at Volusia County Speedway in Barberville, Fla. His best finish in the Truck Series was 14th, which he did twice in 1995 (Tucson and Louisville) and once in 1996 (Milwaukee).
