2005: David Reutimann makes his Cup debut in the UAW-GM Quality 500 at Charlotte and finishes 22nd. Jimmie Johnson wins the race by .309 seconds over Kurt Busch and Greg Biffle is third. Reutimann, who finishes on the lead lap, becomes full time in the series in 2006 and gets his first of two Cup wins in 2009, also at Charlotte.
