1961: Making his last Cup start at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Greenville, S.C., Junior Johnson picks up his second win on the half-mile dirt track. Johnson leads 26 of 200 laps and beats second-place Joe Weatherly by a lap and third-place Rex White by two laps. Greenville-Pickens was the site of 29 Cup races from 1951 to 1971.
