2000: Bobby Hamilton Jr. finishes 33rd in his Cup debut, at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Hamilton finishes two positions behind his dad and completes 261 laps, six behind winner Tony Stewart, who beats Jeremy Mayfield to the checkered flag by 4.561 seconds. Hamilton is winless in 64 Cup races and has five wins in 253 Nationwide starts, the last in 2009. He made one Truck start this year and is winless in 37 starts in that series.
