1970: Bobby Isaac dominates, leading 271 of 300 laps to win the Beltsville 300. It was the final race for NASCAR's top series on Beltsville (Md.) Speedway's half-mile asphalt track. Pole-sitter James Hylton finished second, one lap down, with third-place Bobby Allison another lap back. The track, which played host to 10 NASCAR races, closed in 1978 and is now the site of a community college.
