Lap 201 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. goes to the high side of Justin Allgaier for second, but he doesn't have enough time to go after Elliott Sadler for the win. The victory is Sadler's third this season, and the eighth of his career.

Lap 200 -- GREEN FLAG: Elliott Sadler, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Justin Allgiaer, Michael Annett and Kenny Wallace are the leaders on the restart. Stenhouse doesn't get a very good start, and gives up second to Allgiaer.

Lap 195 -- It looks like the race will conclude with at least one attempt at a green-white-checkered finish.

Lap 194 -- Gone is Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s green-flag charge after Elliott Sadler for the win. In its place will be a short sprint to the checkered flag.

Lap 192 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: Kyle Busch and Brendan Gaughan crash in Turns 1 and 2 after Busch is bumped from behind by Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 191 -- There's no traffic between Elliott Sadler and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Lap 190 -- Ten laps to go. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. now trails leader Elliott Sadler 1.3 seconds. Giddyup!

Lap 186 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is 1.6 seconds down. He's peddling!

Lap 184 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. passes Justin Allgaier for second place on the frontstretch. He's about two seconds behind leader Elliott Sadler.

Lap 182 -- Kenny Wallace passes Kyle Busch for fourth place.

Lap 180 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has moved up to third place, past Kyle Busch.

Lap 177 -- Kyle Busch has moved up to third, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to sixth.

Lap 172 -- GREEN FLAG: Elliott Sadler, Justin Allgaier, Ryan Truex, Kyle Busch and Kenny Wallace are the leaders. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is in 10th place, 16th in line.

Lap 169 -- The rest of the lead-lap car pit under the caution.

Lap 167 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Brad Sweet spins off Turn 2.

Lap 166 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. makes his stop.

Lap 165 -- Parker Kligerman is pittting.

Lap 164 -- Austin Dillon is on pit road. So is Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 162 -- Whew. It was just reported on ESPN that Elliott Sadler's battling a stomach virus ... and it's 104 degrees in the cockpit of his car.

Lap 160 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is still stretching out his cushion over second-place Parker Kligerman.

Lap 157 -- Kyle Busch says his car is the best it's been all day, but he's frustrated by not making up any more ground.

Lap 156 -- Brian Scott has taken over fifth place from Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 153 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. leads Parker Kligerman by 1.5 seconds.

Lap 150 -- Fifty laps remain in the STP 300. The top five are Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Parker Kligerman, Elliott Sadler, Austin Dillon and Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 147 -- Second-place Parker Kligerman finished 13th in his only previous Nationwide Series start here at Chicagoland.

Lap 145 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. leads Parker Kligerman by nearly 6/10ths of a second.

Lap 144 -- Kyle Busch has picked his way up to eighth place.

Lap 141 -- Austin Dillon gets back around Sam Hornish Jr. for fourth place.

Lap 140 -- Sixty laps to go.

Lap 139 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has scooted out to another healthy advantage over second place.

Lap 137 -- Sam Hornish Jr. goes by Austin Dillon for fourth place.

Lap 135 -- Parker Kligerman is hanging with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. so far. Elliott Sadler drops Austin Dillon to fourth place.

Lap 133 -- GREEN FLAG: Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Parker Kligerman, Austin Dillon, Brian Scott and Cole Whitt did not pit, and they're the leaders on the restart. Elliott Sadler takes it three wide going into Turn 3. Stenhouse is the leader.

Lap 130 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. fakes a move to pit road, but most of the rest of the leaders do come down for their stops.

Lap 128 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: There's been a spin on the track by Brad Sweet.

Lap 127 -- Parker Kligerman is at last able to clear Austin Dillon for third place.

Lap 125 -- Parker Kligerman grabs third from Austin Dillon on the backstretch, but then Dillon comes right back after him in Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 123 -- Three of the drivers in the running for the Dash 4 Cash $100,000 bonus are running first, second and third -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Sam Hornish Jr. and Austin Dillon.

Lap 122 -- Sam Hornish Jr. makes a run on Ricky Stenhouse Jr. for the lead, but backs off.

Lap 120 -- There's a gnarly looking pack of traffic coming off Turn 4, but they manage to get through without incident.

Lap 116 -- GREEN FLAG: Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Sam Hornish Jr., Austin Dillon, Parker Kligerman and Brian Scott are the leaders on the restart. Stenhouse tries the inside line this time, and he's able to clear Hornish for the lead in Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 111 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 2: The caution is out for debris in Turn 2.

Lap 110 -- Kenny Wallace is pitting.

Lap 109 -- Danica Patrick takes on four tires and fuel. Mike Bliss and Michael Annett are stopping.

Lap 108 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. gives up the point to bring his car to pit road. Sam Hornish Jr. and Justin Allgaier are also in.

Lap 107 -- Elliott Sadler pits.

Lap 106 -- Brian Scott, Austin Dillon and Parker Kligerman make their stops.

Lap 105 -- Fourteen cars remain on the lead lap.

Lap 104 -- Brad Sweet is on pit road.

Lap 103 -- Kyle Busch is pitting.

Lap 100 -- Halfway.

Lap 98 -- Brian Scott gets under Elliott Sadler for fifth place ... almost.

Lap 96 -- Brian Scott is tight on Elliott Sadler's bumper, hoping to figure out a way into fifth place.

Lap 94 -- Elliott Sadler is working to the high side of Justin Allgaier for fifth place, and Brian Scott is trying hard to follow him.

Lap 92 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is not happy with the way his car is handling, although he's 3.2 seconds ahead of second-place Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 88 -- Parker Kligerman is on Austin Dillon's Bumper for third place.

Lap 86 -- Parker Kligerman takes fourth place from Justin Allgaier.

Lap 83 -- Sam Hornish Jr., running in second place, has finished no better than 24th in three Nationwide Series races here at Chicagoland.

Lap 79 -- There seems to be a concern that Ricky Stenhouse Jr. might have over-revved the engine on that last restart. If he did, it doesn't seem to be impacting the way it's running.

Lap 78 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is the leader, but Sam Hornish Jr. has been able to hang on to his draft.

Lap 76 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. dives under Sam Hornish Jr. for the top spot in Turns 1 and 2.

Lap 73 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has been able to close the gap to leader Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 71 -- Sam Hornish Jr. is setting sail up front. His lead is about 6/10ths of a second.

Lap 68 -- The sun is trying to peek out from behind the cloud cover that has been hanging over the track all day.

Lap 66 -- Austin Dillon finally gets under Cole Whitt for third place, and Justin Allgaier is going to follow him.

Lap 65 -- Austin Dillon looks low and then high, and still can't get around Cole Whitt.

Lap 63 -- Austin Dillon is closing on Cole Whitt for third place.

Lap 61 -- Kyle Busch is trying to pick his way through traffic after starting from the rear of the field.

Lap 60 -- GREEN FLAG: Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Sam Hornish Jr., Cole Whitt, Kyle Busch and Parker Kligerman are the top five on the restart. Hornish charges into the lead from the inside lane.

Lap 54 -- Kyle Busch and the cars that hadn't make their stops are on pit road.

Lap 52 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: The caution is for Jamie Dick's stalled car.

Lap 51 -- Austin Dillon is pitting. Kyle Busch will be penalized for speeding while exiting pit road. Jamie Dick is stalled on the apron of the track.

Lap 50 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Elliott Sadler and others are stopping.

Lap 49 -- Kyle Busch and Sam Hornish Jr. are pitting with others.

Lap 48 -- James Buescher is on pit road.

Lap 47 -- Expect green-flag pit stops to begin in a few laps, if there's not a caution before then.

Lap 46 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is now about 3.4 seconds ahead of Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 43 -- It's Lap 43 and this race is sponsored by STP. Enough said.

Lap 40 -- The top five remains unchanged, although Kyle Busch looks like he might be gaining on Sam Hornish Jr. for second place.

Lap 37 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is 2.6 seconds in front of second-place Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 35 -- A tenacious Kyle Busch is able to wrestle third place away from Austin Dillon.

Lap 33 -- Leader Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is working through some traffic right now, but he's got some room to sort it out.

Lap 32 -- Austin Dillon holds off Kyle Busch ... for now.

Lap 31 -- Kyle Busch is going after Austin Dillon for third place between Turns 1 and 2.

Lap 27 -- Brian Scott is shown in sixth place, 7.7 seconds behind leader Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Lap 24 -- Action sports superstar Travis Pastrana is running in 24th place.

Lap 23 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s best finish in three starts here is an eighth-place showing last year.

Lap 19 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has been able to hold off any serious challenges from Austin Dillon. Right now, the two are separated by maybe 10 car lengths.

Lap 17 -- The top five are Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Austin Dillon, Sam Hornish Jr., Kyle Busch and Parker Kligerman.

Lap 14 -- Kyle Busch and Parker have been working each other over pretty hard for fourth place. Right now, give the position to Busch.

Lap 12 -- Sam Hornish Jr. wasn't able to take the lead when Ricky Stenhouse Jr. got loose in Turn 2, and now he's losing second place to Austin Dillon.

Lap 10 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. bobbles in the turn, and that allows Sam Hornish Jr. to get a run on him for the point.

Lap 8 -- Ryan Truex flies by Brendan Gaughan for eighth place.

Lap 7 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has closed back in on Sam Hornish Jr. for the lead, and takes the spot on the backstretch.

Lap 5 -- Sam Hornish has opened up a lead of 6/10ths of a second over Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Lap 3 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. clears Austin Dillon for second place coming off the last corner.

Lap 2 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is under attack from Austin Dillon for second place.

Lap 1 -- GREEN FLAG: The race gets under way at 3:18 p.m. ET. Austin Dillon clears for the lead on the backstretch, but they're racing hard behind him. At the stripe, however, Sam Hornish Jr. grabs the top spot.

3:13 p.m. ET -- Cars are on the track for the start of the pace laps.

3:09 p.m. ET -- Jack Wiolland from Circle K gives the command to fire engines.

3:04 p.m. ET -- Four T-38s from the 88th FTS "Lucky Devils" from Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas do the fly-over. I'd trade a pinky finger for just one flight in one of those bad boys!

3:03 p.m. ET -- The Million Dollar Quartet sings the national anthem.

3:02 p.m. ET -- Glen Spoolstra of Raceway Ministries is saying the invocation.

3:01 p.m. ET -- The Boy Scouts lead the crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance.

3 p.m. ET -- After the presentation of colors by Company E of the 4th Reconnaissance Battalion from Joliet, Ill., a moment of silence is observed for victims of the shootings Friday morning in Aurora, Colo.

2:50 p.m. ET -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is on the pole for the STP 300, with Austin Dillon, Sam Hornish Jr., Kyle Busch and Parker Kligerman in second through fifth. Brian Scott, Mike Bliss, Cole Whitt, Ryan Truex and Brendan Gaughan round out the top 10.

7:50 a.m. ET -- Qualifying for Sunday's Nationwide Series event is set to begin at 11:35 a.m. ET.
