Lap 206 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Kyle Busch runs out of gas coming off Turn 4, allowing -- holy cow! -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to take the victory! Wow! Austin Dillon finishes second. After the checkered flag, Joey Logano veered into Stenhouse in Turns 1 and 2!

Lap 205 -- GREEN FLAG: Paul Menard runs out of gas just as the race goes green. Kyle Busch is the leader.

Lap 204 -- Sam Hornish Jr. ran out of gas on the backstretch and had to coast into the pits. He was third! Kenny Wallace also went dry, and got a push from brother Mike.

Lap 201 -- This race isn't over! Who's got enough fuel? Who doesn't? Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has enough after pitting ... and it's very, very iffy if Elliott Sadler can make it. That's huge in the title chase!

Lap 199 -- Austin Dillon, Elliott Sadler and a few others pit.

Lap 197 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 12: Scott Lagasse Jr. and Hal Martin crash in Turn 2.

Lap 195 -- Paul Menard is closing on Kyle Busch, but will it be enough?

Lap 193 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is now in eighth place!

Lap 190 -- Will Kyle Busch be able to hold off a hard-charging Paul Menard

Lap 188 -- Cole Whitt gets big-time loose off Turn 2, but he only loses one spot.

Lap 187 -- Paul Menard hustles back around Sam Hornish Jr. for second place.

Lap 186 -- Sam Hornish Jr. goes three wide under Paul Menard and Austin Dillon for second place.

Lap 184 -- Kyle Busch clears Paul Menard for the lead to the high side of Turn 4.

Lap 183 -- Paul Menard is all but shoving Kyle Busch down the backstretch, then gets under him for the lead off Turn 4.

Lap 181 -- Paul Menard is on Kyle Busch's bumper for the top spots.

Lap 180 -- Twenty laps to go. Elliott Sadler has moved by Danica Patrick for fifth place.

Lap 178 -- Sam Hornish Jr. gets under Danica Patrick for fourth place.

Lap 176 -- Kyle Busch is now the leader, with Paul Menard second and Austin Dillon third.

Lap 175 -- GREEN FLAG: Paul Menard, Sam Hornish Jr., Austin Dillon, Kyle Busch and Cole Whitt are the leaders when the green flag comes back out. Hornish zooms into the lead, but not for long. Danica Patrick tires to go three wide under Hornish and Kyle Busch for the lead.

Lap 171 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 11: Mike Bliss spins off Turn 4. This ties a track record for cautions here at Kansas.

Lap 170 -- Danica Patrick goes three wide under Elliott Sadler and Ryan Blaney to take sixth place.

Lap 169 -- Danica Patrick is in eighth place.

Lap 167 -- Austin Dillon is trying to retake the second spot from Cole Whitt.

Lap 166 -- GREEN FLAG: Paul Menard, Austin Dillon, Cole Whitt, Sam Hornish Jr. and Kyle Busch are the leaders. Menard is clear for the lead.

Lap 165 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr., now back on the lead lap, pits to top off his fuel supply.

Lap 163 -- Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano and Brad Sweet, among others, are on pit road.

Lap 161 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 10: There's debris at the end of the backstretch. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will get the free pass to get back on the lead lap. He's in 17th place.

Lap 160 -- The challenge up front has cooled off a bit for the time being.

Lap 159 -- Austin Dillon is right on Paul Menard's rear bumper for the race lead.

Lap 156 -- James Buescher is on pit road with an engine problem.

Lap 154 -- Kyle Busch is something less than pleased with his car at the moment!

Lap 152 -- There's smoke coming from Mike Wallace's car. It appears to be a tire rubbing on damaged sheet metal.

Lap 151 -- The top five are Paul Menard, Austin Dillon, Cole Whitt, Sam Hornish Jr. and Kyle Busch.

Lap 150 -- Fifty laps to go.

Lap 149 -- Sam Hornish Jr. moves into fourth place, past Kyle Busch.

Lap 148 -- Justin Allgaier continues to fall through the top 10. He's now back to eighth.

Lap 146 -- Austin Dillon is on leader Paul Menard for the lead. They're teammates at Richard Childress Racing.

Lap 144 -- Justin Allgaier is not doing well since the restart. He's had a couple more cars blow by him.

Lap 143 -- Justin Allgaier drops under Paul Menard for the top spot on the backstretch, but slips up the track to allow Menard to reclaim the point.

Lap 142 -- GREEN FLAG: Paul Menard, Justin Allgaier, Kyle Busch, Brad Sweet and Austin Dillon are the leaders. Menard clears for the lead.

Lap 140 -- The leaders hit pit road.

Lap 138 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 9: Derek White pancakes the right side of his car in Turn 4.

Lap 136 -- Paul Menard clears Austin Dillon for the lead in Turn 2.

Lap 135 -- GREEN FLAG: Paul Menard, Austin Dillon, Kyle Busch, Ryan Blaney and Kenny Wallace are the leaders. Menard leads the lap, but not by much!

Lap 131 -- James Buescher, Brad Sweet, Justin Allgaier and a few others take the opportunity to pit under the caution.

Lap 129 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 8: There's debris reported in Turn 4.

Lap 128 -- Joey Logano gave Ricky Stenhouse Jr. no less than four separate nudges as they race down the frontstretch a couple of laps ago!

Lap 126 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. gets around Joey Logano, who responds by giving Stenhouse a healthy push down the frontstretch. No harm, no foul, right?

Lap 124 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has caught Joey Logano on the track. Payback, maybe?

Lap 122 -- The top five are Paul Menard, Austin Dillon, Kyle Busch, Ryan Blaney and Kenny Wallace.

Lap 120 -- Sam Hornish Jr. goes three wide under Cole Whitt and Michael Annett on the frontstretch.

Lap 118 -- Paul Menard clears Austin Dillon for the lead in Turn 4.

Lap 117 --- GREEN FLAG: Austin Dillon, Paul Menard, Ryan Blaney, Kenny Wallace and Michael Annett are the top five. Elliott Sadler restarts in seventh place, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. in 23rd, two laps down. Dillon and Menard are door to door the entire lap.

Lap 110 -- Many of the leaders are on pit road.

Lap 109 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 7: Johanna Long crashes in Turn 4 after blowing a left-front tire.

Lap 108 -- Joey Logano is in his pit stall. Video replay shows that Ricky Stenhouse Jr. drove VERY deep into Turn 4 before sliding up into Logano, who responded by appearing to drive Stenhouse low on the frontstretch.

Lap 107 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. pops the wall, which forces him to bring his car to pit road. Huge turn of events in the championship tilt.

Lap 106 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is off the pace! He made contact with Joey Logano Logano while racing for fourth.

Lap 104 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is challenging Joey Logano for fourth place.

Lap 102 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has bulled through the field since that last restart, all the way up to fifth place.

Lap 101 -- Sam Hornish Jr. brings his Dodge to pit road.

Lap 100 -- Crossed flags. The race has reached the halfway point. Justin Allgaier is on pit road.

Lap 98 -- Austin Dillon has closed to within about a second of pace-setter Paul Menard.

Lap 96 -- Danica Patrick is pitting. She was in sixth place.

Lap 94 -- The top five are Paul Menard, Austin Dillon, Justin Allgaier, Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano.

Lap 92 -- Austin Dillon has picked up a few tenths of a second on leader Paul Menard, but it's nowhere near a battle for the lead just yet.

Lap 89 -- Ryan Blaney moves past Joey Logano for fourth place.

Lap 87 -- Joey Logano, although he's running fourth, says that his car is "junk."

Lap 86 -- Paul Menard has moved out to a 1.9-second lead over Austin Dillon.

Lap 84 -- Ryan Blaney has made his way up to fifth place.

Lap 82 -- Jason Bowles gets loose in Turns 1 and 2 after contact with another car, and then slaps the wall coming off the corner. He pops the wall just in front of Elliott Sadler.

Lap 80 -- Elliott Sadler is complaining that his car has no rear grip.

Lap 79 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Elliott Sadler are having to very gingerly pick their way through traffic.

Lap 77 -- Paul Menard is out to what's probably the biggest lead of the day. Austin Dillon goes into second place.

Lap 75 -- Elliott Sadler is 17th and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. 20th following their pit stops under the caution.

Lap 73 -- GREEN FLAG: Paul Menard, Justin Allgaier, Joey Logano, Danica Patrick and Austin Dillon are the leaders. Menard is clear with the lead.

Lap 71 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Kyle Busch, Johanna Long, Elliott Sadler, Cole Whitt and a few others are pitting under the caution.

Lap 69 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 6: Nur Ali spins in Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 68 -- Joey Logano and Danica Patrick are battling for sixth place.

Lap 67 -- Paul Menard blows past Justin Allgaier for fourth place.

Lap 65 -- The outside lane on this newly repaved track is NOT the place to be!

Lap 63 -- One of those who was nearly collected in Scott Lagasse Jr.'s near-crash was Elliott Sadler. Kyle Busch DID brush the wall in the scramble!

Lap 61 -- GREEN FLAG: Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Kenny Wallace, Cole Whitt, Danica Patrick and Justin Allgaier are the top five. Stenhouse is clear with the lead in Turns 1 and 2. Scott Lagasse Jr. very nearly loses control in Turn 4, but while he gathers it back in, the field is forced to scatter to avoid him.

Lap 59 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. once again stays on the track while several other leaders hit pit road. Along with Stenhouse, 10 other cars did not pit.

Lap 57 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: Brian Scott crashes on the backstretch. This time, he makes contact with the outside retaining wall.

Lap 54 -- GREEN FLAG: Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Paul Menard, Elliott Sadler, Austin Dillon and Kyle Busch are the leaders on the restart. Menard and Stenhouse drag race down the backstretch, and Stenhouse blinks first. The lead is Menard's in Turn 4.

Lap 51 -- Joey Logano, Kenny Wallace and a handful of others drop onto pit road once it's opened.

Lap 48 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Dexter Stacy loops his car in Turn 4.

Lap 47 -- Paul Menard is still running a strong second, so Ricky Stenhouse Jr. appears to have had a really good restart.

Lap 45 -- GREEN FLAG: Paul Menard, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Elliott Sadler, Kyle Busch and Austin Dillon are the leaders. Menard appears to slow just after the restart, which allows Stenhouse to scoot into the lead. Menard maintains second place.

Lap 42 -- Dr. Jerry Punch reports that Brian Scott's team is trying out an experimental chassis setup ... hmmmmmmmm. It doesn't appear to be working out very well at this point.

Lap 40 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: Brian Scott spins again, this time off Turn 3.

Lap 38 -- GREEN FLAG: Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Paul Menard, Elliott Sadler, Austin Dillon and Danica Patrick are the top five on the restart. Stenhouse and Menard are door to door for most of the lap until Menard clears for the lead in Turn 4.

Lap 33 -- The leaders are on pit road. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. stays on the track.

Lap 31 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 2: Scott Saunders spins and backs into the wall in Turn 3.

Lap 30 -- Johanna Long is running eighth, Danica Patrick 11th.

Lap 29 -- Paul Menard has dropped back a few lengths, but the battle for the lead is still raging hot and heavy!

Lap 27 -- Joey Logano is running maybe half a lane or so higher than Austin Dillon in the turns, but Dillon can't yet make a move.

Lap 26 -- Throw a blanket over the front three!

Lap 24 -- Leader Joey Logano, second-place Austin Dillon and third-place Paul Menard are separated by just a car length or two each.

Lap 22 -- Three wide in Turn 1! Hold on, folks! Sam Hornish Jr. then gets REALLY loose in Turn 2.

Lap 21 -- GREEN FLAG: Joey Logano, Austin Dillon, Paul Menard, Elliott Sadler and Kyle Busch lead the field to the restart. Logano is clear for the lead by the time he reaches Turn 1.

Lap 18 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Danica Patrick and several others cars drop onto pit road to take advantage of the caution.

Lap 17 -- Brian Scott is on pit road with a ton of grass on the nose of his car from where he ran through the trioval.

Lap 14 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Brian Scott spins off Turn 4. The leaders were in traffic, and it appears that Scott came up on a lapped car much faster than he expected.

Lap 13 -- The top four are basically running nose to tail, with fourth-place Paul Menard charging hard to catch up.

Lap 12 -- Johanna Long is the real deal. She's hanging in there in 10th place!

Lap 10 -- Brian Scott is sticking with leader Joey Logano, less than half a second back.

Lap 9 -- The top five are Joey Logano, Brian Scott, Austin Dillon, Paul Menard and Elliott Sadler.

Lap 7 -- Sam Hornish Jr. thinks he might have a right-rear tire going down, or at the very least, leaking air pressure.

Lap 6 -- Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is struggling early. He's back in eighth place.

Lap 4 -- Austin Dillon is in third place, a few car lengths behind second-place Brian Scott.

Lap 3 -- Brian Scott is still close on teammate Joey Logano's bumper for the lead.

Lap 1 -- GREEN FLAG: The race gets under way at 3:49 p.m. ET. Joey Logano is clear with the lead. Back in the pack, Hal Martin lightly brushes the wall in Turn 2 but keeps going.

3:43 p.m. ET -- The field has made its way onto the track for the start of the pace laps.

3:39 p.m. ET -- Len Dawson, the NFL Hall of Fame former quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, gives the command to fire engines!

3:34 p.m. ET -- Two T-45s from VT-9, Naval Air Station Meridian do the fly-over. Come on, people! Put me in one of those suckers and light the candle! Let's go!

3:32 p.m. ET -- Amber Manley is singing the national anthem.

3:31 p.m. ET -- The colors are presented by the 4th Brigade, 1st Infantry Division Color Guard from Fort Reilly, Kansas. The invocation is given by R.D. Fowler, from Kansas City Raceway Ministries and pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Lincoln, Neb.

3:03 p.m. ET -- Hold the phone! The pre-race show is being shown on ESPN News.

3 p.m. ET -- A college football game on ESPN is running long, so pre-race coverage on the network will be delayed.

2 p.m. ET -- Joey Logano is on the pole for the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas with a lap of 182.914 mph. Austin Dillon, Brian Scott, Kenny Wallace and Paul Menard make up the rest of the top five, while Kyle Busch, Elliott Sadler, Cole Whitt, Johanna Long and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. round out the top 10.
