Lap 500 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Jimmie Johnson holds off a hard-charging Kyle Busch to score his seventh career victory at Martinsville. The win gives Johnson the lead in the championship standings by two points over Brad Keselowski, who salvaged a sixth-place finish.

Lap 498 -- Clint Bowyer and Jeff Gordon make contact!

Lap 496 -- Kyle Busch clears Kasey Kahne for second.

Lap 495 -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon and Aric Almirola are the leaders on the restart. Johnson clears in Turn 2, as Kahne works under Busch for second.

Lap 490 -- YELLOW FLAG: Kurt Busch and Carl Edwards clash in Turn 2. This is the 11th caution of the race. Ten laps to go.

Lap 488 -- Brad Keselowski is back to fifth place.

Lap 485 -- Jimmie Johnson pushes Brad Keselowski through the turns. Johnson gets the lead in Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 483 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. was caught in the outside lane, and drops back to sixth before getting back into line.

Lap 481 -- GREEN FLAG: Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch are the leaders. Keselowski is clear in Turn 1 with the lead, as Johnson takes second.

11:43 a.m. ET -- Point leader Brad Keselowski will be up against it as the race begins at Martinsville. He's slated to start 32nd, and has led just two laps here, as opposed to 1,788 for pole-sitter Jimmie Johnson.

11:40 a.m. ET -- Jimmie Johnson is on the pole for Sunday's Sprint Cup event at Martinsville with a lap of 97.598 mph. Brian Vickers, Kyle Busch, Jeff Burton and Denny Hamlin are second through fifth, while Matt Kenseth, Tony Stewart, Clint Bowyer, Paul Menard and Aric Almirola round out the top 10.
