MIAMI -- Multi-platinum selling American rock star Kid Rock will be performing a live set prior to the Ford EcoBoost 400 on Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

In addition to the pre-race show, Kid Rock will serve as the celebrity pace-car driver and, together with the track, offer a ticket package that includes:

* One premium grandstand ticket to the Ford EcoBoost 400

* One pre-race pit pass that includes stageside access for the show

* A digital download of his new album, Rebel Soul, set to drop the day after the race

The ticket package is available now via homesteadmiamispeedway.com/kidrock or by calling 305.230 5255.

Kid Rock will be performing a set that includes his new single Let's Ride, which will be broadcast in full on ESPN during its NASCAR Countdown pre-race show. Kid Rock also will answer questions during the first extended caution, aired in full during the ESPN race telecast, which begins at 3 p.m. ET. In addition to the performance and appearances, the majority of the music played during the race telecast will be Kid Rock's. The Top Dog/Atlantic recording artist has had a musical presence throughout NASCAR's Chase for the Sprint Cup with his songs being featured on the ESPN race telecasts.

Kid Rock, whose musical style ranges from hip hop to heavy metal to country, has sold more than 26 million albums worldwide. He also has been a constant supporter of American troops at home and abroad.

"The addition of Kid Rock rounds out a stellar lineup of entertainment for Ford Championship Weekend," said Homestead-Miami track president Matthew Becherer. "His music is pure Americana and will be the perfect way to transition to 267 laps of championship racing."
