Chase Across America

First race of Chase is Sunday, but there are events in each Chase city this week

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is off to the Big Apple. Clint Bowyer is headed to Bristol, Conn. It seems NASCAR’s Chase For The Sprint Cup drivers will be a little bit of everywhere in the coming days.

Until, that is, they finally regroup and surface at Chicagoland Speedway, site of this week’s Geico 400, the opening Chase race of the 2013 season.

It’s the Chase Across America, the big push leading into this weekend’s Chase kickoff.

Here’s a look at the Chase drivers, and some of the activities scheduled:

Tuesday, Sept. 10

Dale Earnhardt Jr. – The Hendrick Motorsports driver, ninth in the points standings, will be in New York to hit a number of media outlets, including “CBS This Morning,” the New York Post and "America Live" on the Fox News Channel.
