From parents to girlfriend to chiropractor, Brad gives thanks

Brad Keselowski handed out a bevy of "thank-yous" in his latest blog post, giving a digital head nod to the folks who have helped shape his career. The 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion, who often connects with his fans via his personal blog, wrote an entry titled "The Chain" on Thursday, making the connection that if a driver fulfills his dream and makes it to NASCAR's top series, there's a chain of people who have helped him or her along the way. Some of the anecdotes were amusing, some were downright touching. A brief outline: • Brad Keselowski's first spotter was his mom. • TJ Majors, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s spotter, is the guy Keselowski considers his best friend. • Keselowski still feels the daily effects of a big crash at Road Atlanta in 2011, but chiropractor Ryan Robinson repaired his body and showed him how to recover. "I still feel the effects of that crash every day, and his work gets me through it," Keselowski wrote. • Brian Keselowski punched younger brother Brad a lot growing up, but was furious when someone else did at Texas Motor Spee Read More

Thursday 23 April 2015, Brad Norman, NASCAR.com

Growing up in the garage, Chase gravitated toward Stewart

When Chase Elliott gets on track at Richmond International Raceway ahead of his second career Sprint Cup Series start, he'll be racing alongside one of his very first idols -- and no, Bill Elliott is not coming out of retirement. "Awesome Bill" will always hold the top honor as his father, but there's another guy Chase admired long before making it to the Big Show.
