Racing for wins: it's just what Austin Dillon does.

Mere hours after the rookie Richard Childress Racing driver took home the Coors Light Pole for the season-opening Daytona 500, Dillon scurried along to Barberville, Fla., to take place in a DIRTcar UMP Modified race at Volusia Speedway Park. Naturally, Dillon took first in the final Gator Championship qualifying feature -- a race that also featured current and past NASCAR drivers in Kenny Wallace, Ken Schrader, Matt Crafton and Justin Allgaier -- and will race again Monday night for the Gator Championship, the premier event for DIRTcar UMP Modifieds.

"I don't know if there were more nerves today qualifying for the Daytona 500 or out here at Volusia to get a win because (brother) Ty has had two of them and he beat me to one,"  Dillon told DIRTcarNationals.com. "We created a little Gator farm at Team Dillon Racing …I've been here seven years, I'm not a rookie here."

Austin will have a chance to even the score with Ty on Monday after the younger Dillon notched his bid into the Gator Championship on Saturday.
