Fans attending the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Oct. 11 will have an added bonus of a pre-race country music festival headlined by The Band Perry.

The show is being billed as the largest pre-race Country Jam and Pit Party in the track's history and will be three hours of music before the race. Parmalee and Jimmy Wayne will also be performing as part of the Country Jam.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jimmie Johnson are also scheduled to appear for on-stage Q&A sessions with fans. In addition, pit crew demonstrations, games and photo opportunities will take place in Victory Circle and toward the exit of pit road.

Charlotte Motor Speedway President and General Manager Marcus Smith said of the announcement, which was made on Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway, "It's something that is above and beyond what we've ever done before for the fans. That's really what we're in it for."

The Band Perry was the 2014 Academy of Country Music Vocal Group of the Year and is best known for No. 1 hits "If I Die Young," "All Your Life" and "Done."

"We are excited to join the Charlotte Motor Speedway in making history as we participate in the largest pre-race event ever recorded for the venue," The Band Perry said in a track release.

The Bank of America 500 will be on Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. ET and televised on ABC. The race is the fifth in the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup playoff.
