Nationwide Series driver's senior photo shows the JRM driver in a tuxedo
By now, most are well-aware of the fact that two-time Nationwide Series winner Chase Elliott had perhaps his most important accomplishment of 2014 happen outside any race track and inside the confined walls of King's Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Yes, that's right -- Elliott, 18, had to finish high school.
With the Nationwide Series points leader set to earn his diploma Saturday morning before heading to Iowa Speedway for Sunday's Get to Know Newton 250, Elliott shared his high school senior yearbook photo to commemorate this momentous occasion, and it didn't disappoint in the slightest.
What you're about to see is not for the faint of heart. Ladies, I'm kindly going to have to preemptively ask that you calm yourselves.
Behold, the power of the bow tie. It's glorious.
So congrats, Chase, on winning this week's #TBT and likely the hearts of many female readers, you teenage heartthrob, you.
And best of luck with your graduation; it's only a matter of time before we're talking about your next one -- to the Sprint Cup Series.
