Danica

Patrick co-hosting Tuesday's ACA's with country singer Trace Adkins

Sprint Cup Series star Danica Patrick, who recently finished fifth in Most Popular Driver Award voting, is set to host the fourth annual American Country Awards on Tuesday night.

Patrick will co-host the special show alongside multi-platinum recording artist Trace Adkins. The show gets underway at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.

Danica did a promo for the show on FOX NFL Sunday in which she gave a few zingers, something she was on the receiving end of during Jay Mohr's monologue at Friday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Awards Show in Las Vegas. Danica's bit on Sunday's pregame show went like this:

"I'm Danica Patrick, and Tuesday, I'm hosting the American Country Music Awards on FOX. Maybe you don't know a lot about country music so let me put this into football terms. Jason Aldean is up for Artist of the Year. He's got that cowboy thing going on. Kind of like Tony Romo. But unlike Romo, Aldean's won the big one before. Just kidding Tony. You carried my fantasy football team last year. Taylor Swift is up for Artist of the Year, too. She's mega-talented and so much fun to watch. Kind of like Colin Kaepernick except Taylor deals with screaming fans, and Kaepernick deals with a screaming Harbaugh. And once again, Terry wasn't nominated for anything. And I don't know why. He's got a nice voice."

Wonder if Mohr will get a kick out of Danica's jokes. He recently tweeted several messages to the driver of the No. 10:

Watch the video below to see Adkins and Patrick touch on the following subjects:

-- Adkins on his co-host…
