Wintry weather causes teams to re-arrange Daytona trips ahead of Speedweeks

With dropping temperatures and snow falling Tuesday in the Southeast, many around the sport of NASCAR were forced to make a decision regarding their imminent trips from the Charlotte area down to Daytona Beach for the start of Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway, which get underway this Thursday.

If Twitter is any indication, most chose to head out early and brave the storm.

**UPDATE**
With more (and heavier) snow in the forecast, the NASCAR Hall of Fame will be closed to the general public Wednesday and Thursday due to the inclement winter weather.
