During Jimmie Johnson's post-championship media blitz, the six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion was all over the place, taping an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" and co-hosting ESPN's "SportsCenter" among several of his appearances.
During that time, Johnson also taped an interview with CNN's Rachel Nichols for the show, "Unguarded with Rachel Nichols." The interview will air on Friday, Dec. 6, at 10:30 p.m. ET on CNN.
In this promo, Johnson discusses his relationship with seven-time Cup champion Richard Petty, who along with Dale Earnhardt holds the series record for most titles. He also discusses safety in NASCAR and how Dan Wheldon's death in an IndyCar event forced him to shut down the notion of running "the double" on Memorial Day weekend (the Coca-Cola 600 and the Indianapolis 500).
