Team Penske driver visits Big Apple in support of Tire Safety Awareness Month
Joey Logano already has two wins this season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and on Monday he visited New York City as part of a barnstorming media tour in support of Tire Safety Awareness Month.
The Team Penske driver was making stops at "Fox and Friends," hosting a chat on Jalopnik.com, taking over NASCAR's official Instagram account (with the hashtag #JOEYTAKEOVER) for the day, and appearing on SiriusXM (as well as taking over there Twitter account for a bit) and SI Now. Logano was also scheduled to appear via satellite on NASCAR Race Hub on FOX Sports 1 Monday at 5 p.m. ET.
Throughout the day, Logano was busy posting images from his day in the rainy Big Apple.
Check out two clips from Logano's chat at SI Now. In this clip, Logano talks about random items getting stuck in the grille of his car. In the second clip, he talks about "22 Jump Street" stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill giving the command at Pocono and being guests in his pit box.
