No. 18 team builds home for Charlotte family
Charlotte was good to Kyle Busch last weekend, giving the No. 18 driver a top-three finish in the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race race on Saturday. This week, before heading back to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Coca-Cola 600, Busch returned the favor. He and his teammates joined colleagues from Joe Gibbs Racing and M&M's to form a group of more than 60 volunteers to build a Habitat for Humanity home. “Charlotte has always been good to the NASCAR community, and especially to me and my teammates,” Busch said. “... I encourage all race fans to join M&M’S in the effort to M’Prove America in their own hometowns, as there are few things in life as rewarding as helping a neighbor.” The new homeowners are Yasin Mohamed and Egland Isak, along with their three children. The partnership between M&M's and Habitat for Humanity is part of the candy company's M'Prove America campaign, the theme of Busch's car this weekend as it hits the track to introduce red, white and blue M&M's specially packaged for the cause. Fans can donate money or minutes to help construct even more homes at www.mproveamerica.com.
