Bid on opportunity to play against Dale Jr. and other drivers
Dale Earnhardt Jr. locked himself into the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup on Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. As he prepares for NASCAR's playoffs this fall, he's also focused on his fantasy football team, and your bid for a chance to be part of his league.
** UPDATE: The final bid for this auction went for $11,600.**
As part of an auction benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Research, Earnhardt Jr. teamed with ESPN Fantasy Football expert Matthew Berry to offer a fan the chance to compete in their league along with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Austin Dillon, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Kasey Kahne and Jamie McMurray as well as NASCAR Nationwide Series and JR Motorsports drivers Chase Elliott and Regan Smith.

In case you win, and it helps with your planning for the draft, Earnhardt Jr. explained to ESPN last August his strategy for drafting.
"I think that (Robert Griffin III) is a top 10 quarterback so I'm actually going to probably draft running backs first because it's really difficult to find a good running back that's going to be a workhorse all season," the 12-time Dirty Mo Posse League champion, at the time, said. "So I'll probably draft running backs first, then look for quarterbacks in the fourth to seventh rounds."
In other ESPN news, Earnhardt Jr. is nominated for Best Driver in Wednesday's ESPY Awards (9 p.m. ET) against his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Jimmie Johnson, who is also up for Best Championship Performance.
