Where do wrecked race cars go when they are put out to pasture? Why, no where else than Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s famed backyard graveyard at his estate in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Last month, Dale Jr. tweeted a photo of his Texas fireball in his backyard graveyard.
And on Tuesday, Junior tweeted photos of two new additions to the property.
Here's another new addition. Sorry, no tours. Private property. 🚷 pic.twitter.com/pi749J8rgK— Dale Earnhardt Jr. (@DaleJr) May 20, 2014
The torn up cars, with wheels removed and everything, are those of Justin Allgaier (No. 51) and David Gilliland (No. 38), who were involved in a bad wreck on May 10 at Kansas Speedway. Both drivers were able to walk away from the wreck and will race on Sunday in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
