In the second episode touring his car graveyard, Dale Earnhardt Jr. highlights two cars that were caught up in a May 2014 crash at Kansas Speedway.

Shortly after the crash, Earnhardt described why and how he procured the vehicles.

"David Gilliland and Justin Allgaier got in an accident on the front straightaway, and I called both those guys up and their race teams and asked them if they were doing anything with those cars," Earnhardt Jr. said in May of 2014. "If they were going to throw them away, then I'd take them and put them in the graveyard so they let me come over there and pick them up."

You can watch the wreck here.

In the new video, Earnhardt discusses why some drivers and teams won't let him take their cars, and he describes how these torn-up pieces of sheet metal have been pressed into service by the driver and his friends for recreational purposes.
