Fresh off her best finish of seventh in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Kansas Speedway, Danica Patrick and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. made an addition this week with the adoption of a puppy named Dallas.
Patrick tweeted several photos during the week of Dallas, and it is quite obvious from the tweets that she loves the puppy.
She didn't take nine months to make but we do love our new little Dallas! pic.twitter.com/thP1s7xJRO— Danica Patrick (@DanicaPatrick) May 11, 2014
She's so sweet. Just like a baby, eats, sleeps, plays. And was up every 2-3 hours last night. And I don't even mind! pic.twitter.com/PCPyvaa0Te— Danica Patrick (@DanicaPatrick) May 12, 2014
On Friday, Patrick and Stenhouse will be on the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway looking to race their way into the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race (9:10 p.m. ET, Saturday, FOX Sports 1) in the Sprint Showdown.
Should neither driver finish first or second in the Sprint Showdown (7:15 p.m. ET, Friday, FOX Sports 1), either Patrick or Stenhouse could still make it into the Sprint All-Star Race by winning the Sprint Fan Vote. Voting ends on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
