Fifth-generation Adam Petty was born last week and already has a Twitter account

The world welcomed another addition to the fifth-generation of Petty last week as Adam Petty was born to parents Austin and Sarah.

According to his Twitter page, because yes, the infant is cool enough to have one, he's "loving life and a complete momma's boy."

Austin, the son of Kyle Petty and grandson of Richard "The King" Petty, lost his brother just over 13 years ago when a 19-year-old Adam Petty crashed in Turn 3 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He decided to honor his late brother by naming his son Adam.

The newest member of the Petty dynasty marks the first fifth-generation male for the storied family. Kyle Petty's daughter, Montgomery, had a daughter named Sullivan.

Austin works on day-to-day operations of the Victory Junction Gang Camp, a Hole in the Wall Gang camp established by the Pettys after Adam's death.
