This is a good time to get to know Cale Conley via Twitter.
The 22-year-old driver has picked up six NASCAR Nationwide Series races this year for Richard Childress Racing, and he's coming off a 12th-place finish last week at Chicagoland Speedway. His burgeoning racing career in a NASCAR national series clearly is just getting started.
Connecting with Conley now will make it more fun -- and give you a rooting interest -- if he eventually hits it big time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
You should definitely follow him on Twitter here.
Of course, the reason you should really follow Conley right now is far less noble. The driver promised his girlfriend that if he reached 6,000 followers by Friday -- he's currently at more than 4,200 -- he would publicly model something from her boutique shop. Something of her choice.
Emma Blaney co-owns EmLeighs & Mama B's, and she's promised an outfit that's a little … well, feminine. We're all for any bet that could end with a man dressed in women's clothing (not that there's anything wrong with that).
As noted by his #DriverInADress hashtag, Conley is having fun with this whole thing. So are we.
