Earnhardt's No. 3 car powers West Virginia offense
Mountaineers use iconic ride to relay plays against Alabama

NASCAR and college football returned to Atlanta this weekend, and the two intersected at the Georgia Dome as the West Virginia Mountaineers invoked Dale Earnhardt's famous No. 3 car vs. the Alabama Crimson Tide.

West Virginia head football coach Dana Holgorsen and his staff used signs with images to relay plays to his no-huddle offense, and the winningest driver at Atlanta Motor Speedway showed up in one of the pictures.

Earnhardt won nine races at the track, and his son, Dale Earnhardt Jr., retweeted a picture of the board.

It should make for an interesting Dale Jr. Download next Tuesday as JR Motorsports' Mike Davis is a diehard Crimson Tide fan and in attendance for the tilt.
