Remember that super-awkward Kevin Harvick interview that turned out to be a JR Motorsports prank all along?
"We can only hope (Mike) Davis' bikini contest story is some sort of sick joke."
-- Brad Norman
The mythical character at the center of that gag -- young public relations rep Tyler Overstreet -- is again in the spotlight following JR Motorsports' latest video that sheds light on the Chuck Norris-like qualities the fresh-faced Overstreet brings to the team.
In fact, Mike Davis, the team's director of communications, called Overstreet the team's "secret weapon" in the video, which is appropriately titled "Our secret revealed." Overstreet has, according to Davis, led a JR Motorsports driver into Victory Lane a whopping eight times this year, a total that includes the operation's late model program.
In the spirit of such axioms as "There is no chin behind Chuck Norris' beard ... there is only another fist," NASCAR Sprint Cup Series regulars Kevin Harvick and Kasey Kahne -- who both have experienced the Victory Lane magic that can only come with a preferred PR rep -- delivered a few similar messages.
"When Tyler turned 18, his parents moved out," Kahne deadpans.
Take a look at the video below for a few laughs. We can only hope Davis' bikini contest story is some sort of sick joke.
Update: It's not.
