The Budweiser Duels will determine the lineup for the Daytona 500. -
The first Duel determines the inside lane (after the pole-sitter and outside pole-sitter) while the second Duel determines the outside lane. -
After the top 30 are decided by qualifying and the Duels, the six-fastest qualifiers by time and the six or seven highest in owner's points fill out the field, unless a Champion's provisional is used.
The Daytona Duels determine the starting lineup for the Daytona 500 for positions 3-43. The pole position and outside pole are determined during regular qualifying procedures.
