 Intimidator Leaves Strong Impression  Fans Say Farewell

Seven-time Winston Cup champ Dale Earnhardt, 49, died Sunday, February 18th, 2001 as a result of massive injuries sustained in a last-lap crash at the Daytona 500. Known as "The Intimidator," he won 34 races at Daytona, including the 1998 Great American Race.
