Penske Racing's Sam Hornish Jr., whose 2011 Sprint Cup Series program ended due to lack of sponsorship, will open at least a 10-race program in the Nationwide Series at Daytona International Speedway.

A team source said Hornish's Nationwide program will be sponsored and the current 10 races will be spread throughout the 34-race Nationwide Series schedule.

Crew chief Chad Walter, who led Justin Allgaier's fourth-place team in the 2010 Nationwide drivers' championship, will hold the same role for Hornish.
