Kenseths welcome Grace Katherine to family

CONCORD, N.C. -- Matt Kenseth and his wife Katie welcomed a new bundle of joy into their family early Tuesday morning with the birth of the couple's second daughter. Grace Katherine Kenseth was born at 3:49 a.m. ET weighing in at 7 lbs., 8 oz. Both mother and daughter are doing well as the family welcomes Grace into the family to join their other daughter, Kaylin, and son, Ross.

Kenseth will be able to spend a few days with his baby girl before traveling out west for this weekend's Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway. Kenseth has earned top-ten finishes in his past two races at the track as the No. 17 team looks to rebound from a 34th-place finish at Daytona last weekend after getting caught up in a multi-car wreck early in the race.
