1960: Junior Johnson wins the second Daytona 500, using the newly discovered drafting technique to perfection. Johnson prevails by 23 seconds over runner-up Bobby Johns as Richard Petty drives to third place. The field of 68 cars remains the largest in Daytona 500 history.
