Victory for Petty, Juction Gang Camp
10:05 PM
Kyle Petty wins the fan vote, brought a little dude up on stage with him. Little man is living it up! He's high-fiving fans, low-fiving Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers -- coolest thing I've witnessed this season by a considerable margin. thats the only way he can get in to the all star race cuz he cant be cometive on a week end points race
I am proud of all my nascar family for putting Kyle Petty in the race. If you know anything about hte camp then you know what a great thing you have done tonight. Thank you all
burton sould win, if not he better get the fans vote.
i wish jeff burton won!
Good for all the fans putting Kyle in the race it made a lot of money for a good cause. It would be nice to see all of the open race teams to pick a charity and get the same sympathy vote and possibly get a competitive car in the challenge race. If he stays on the lead lap I'll be impressed but to a no biased fan the only team that could be less competetive in the challenge would have been Brent Sherman.
Congrats Mr. Petty...Does anyone know how the voting went, ie, how many votes did each driver get..
Best thing I've seen tonight so far. Good for the kid and darn good on Kyle. What would've been better is if 24, 48, and some of the other "big" names would have come back out instead of waiting around the sides for camera time. The Victory Junction camp and all camps like Paul Newman's and Don Imus' are what people need to be aware of.
What were the results of the voting ? Most likely this contest was decided, before the first vote was cast. Nascar.com has opened themselves to accusations of outright fraud, with the way they have not providing vote totals. Anything provided now would be tanited. This vote was a SHAM.
