Where in the world is Ward?

1:50 PM
Just saw a doe in the hillside. This type of thing didn't happen when Ward was around.

Perhaps since every other man and beast is looking for Ward, she was checking things out for her buddies. They miss him too, by gosh. (come back Ward!)

I don't know about anybody else, but I miss the sound of Ward saying; "I'm Wad Button from Sowth Bahston,Viginia." Hell, I don't live but about 60 miles from South Boston and we don't even talk like he does!!!! But at least he is being his own self!!!

Ward Burton is certainly one of (if not THE best) driver to ever strap themselves into a CUP Car, and he was ALWAYS the class of the field, and he is also one of the most underated drivers in the sport. It is way too bad that nobody ever gave him decent equipment after his spilt from Bill Davis Racing because I truly believe Ward would be at the very top of his game right now and would already have had a championship or two under his belt by now. It is my hope that someone will give Ward a chance (and in decent equipment) in the near future. Ward deserves to be in NEXTEL Cup, and NEXTEL Cup needs a driver of the caliper of Ward Burton. Ward Burton...YOU are missed!

I think Ward needs a rest. There isn't as much traffic on the golf course as there is on the track

he is a faded flower, he had his day in the sun and didn't take advantage of it, therefore withered

There are some team owners out there that are really missing the boat by not picking up Ward. Instead they go out get some unproven youg kid who basically just tears up equipment generally gets in the way every Sunday. Just goes to show you don't have to smart to have the money to own a team.
