It is hard to determine if the 2007 Nextel Cup season had a lot of drama, or very little drama. There is no argument that the Chase fizzled this season, just do the math. Despite the best intentions of the decision-makers, even this "playoff" system failed to deliver the excitement of a late-September pennant race or the frantic scramble for a postseason berth on the final weekend of the NFL season.more

"I didn't say half the things I said"-Yogi Berra
I grew upin Middletown, NJ, graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis. I worked as a sports anchor/reporter in Terre Haute, IN., Evansville, IN., and Indianapolis, IN. I spend 6 years at Sunbelt Video as a producer/reporter, six years at ESPN and joined the TNT/NBC NASCAR team in 2001. Most of my spare time is spent on the golf course or working on close-up magic that I use for fun and at corporate speaking appearances. On the rare off-weekend you'll probably find me working in the yard. My wife, Teresa and I live just outside of Clearwater. Florida. We have three cats; Bert is 22 years old and is dressed in a tuxedo. Stormy and Whiskey are four-year-old twin sisters. Stormy in the one that sleeps on my desk while I am working away at my computer. We are season ticket holders for the single-"A" Clearwater Threshers baseball team. I love basball! If you're ever in town, the best pizza you can get anywhere is at Nick's on Gulf Road in Tarpon Springs, FL.
