Vickers first career win a thriller
Brian Vickers won a long and thrilling duel with Shane Hmiel to win the Kroger 200 on Saturday at Indianapolis Raceway Park.

It's the first career Busch Series victory for the 19-year-old Vickers, who started the race third and took the lead for good with 20 laps to go.

Jason Keller finished second and Stacy Compton finished third.

Hmiel and Scott Wimmer were involved in a crash just before the white flag. Hmiel finished fourth and Wimmer finished 12th.

Vickers' best previous finish was second at both Nazareth and Milwaukee earlier this season. More
