LOUDON, N.H. -- Travis Kvapil held off Jack Sprague's late charge to win Saturday's weather-delayed NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Sylvania 200 by Lowe's as the race's 10th caution and darkness froze the finishing order with two laps remaining. Kvapil, driving a Toyota, became the ninth consecutive different series winner at New Hampshire International Speedway with his second victory of the season. Kvapil's fifth career win was aided by good fuel mileage that allowed his Bang Racing Tundra to go the 200-lap race's final 93 circuits without stopping for gas. "We definitely were concerned," Kvapil said. "We needed some cautions to go our way and that's what happened." More |
