AVONDALE, Ariz. -- Todd Bodine raced off to his second NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series win in a row Friday night at Phoenix International Raceway. A crash involving Bobby East and Deborah Renshaw dropped debris and fluids on the track and forced NASCAR to put out a red flag with just 19 laps remaining in the 150-lap Chevy Silverado 150. Neither driver was injured and, after a nearly 15-minute delay, racing resumed. Bodine's Toyota Tundra was able to pull away easily from the Chevrolet of runner-up Ron Hornaday Jr. after the green flag waved for the restart on Lap 135. Bodine, who has won three of his last five starts, heads to next Friday's season-finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway with four victories this season and six in his truck career. More |
