| Johnny Benson held off hard-charging Mark Martin and Bobby Labonte during a green-white-checkered finish to win the Con-way Freight 200 on Saturday at Michigan. "Welcome to Victory Lane at Michigan International Speedway," Benson's crew chief Rick Ren radioed as soon as the checkered flag flew. Benson was calm with nine laps to go, talking with television broadcasters about how nice it would be to win his first Truck Series race as he drove around under caution. But on the restart with eight laps left, Martin trailed his every move as a line of single-file trucks snaked left and right down the backstretch each lap. Martin had his hands full with Bobby Labonte and Rick Crawford before reeling in the distanced Benson with four to go. That's when Martin Truex Jr. blew a tire and collected Kerry Earnhardt for the race's final caution. On the restart with two to go, Martin and Labonte followed his every move, but it didn't matter.
