| SPARTA, Ky. -- Ron Hornaday Jr. believes the reason he keeps finishing strong in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is because he keeps starting slowly. "I stink at qualifying," Hornaday said. He did at the Built Ford Tough 225, starting 22nd. But once again, Hornaday ended up in Victory Lane, extending his career wins to a series-record 29 Saturday night. Hornaday, a nine-year veteran, won for the second time this year. It also marked the biggest comeback win in Truck Series history at Kentucky. "I've always just learned to come from the back, use the other guys as picks, and hopefully you get away from the fast guys," Hornaday said. "I'm not going to tell you how, because then they'll learn how to do it." More |
