DARLINGTON, S.C. -- Ricky Craven won the Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 in thrilling last-lap battle with Kurt Busch.
Craven led only one lap -- the last lap.
Craven's Pontiac won by inches over Busch in one of the most exciting finishes in NASCAR history. Both cars rubbed fenders nearly the entire length of Darlington's frontstretch coming to the checkered flag.
Dave Blaney finished a career-high third.
Jeff Gordon dominated the latter part of the event but was forced to retire with damage after scraping the wall. He finished 33rd.
